Knitted fabrics designed to accentuate the sensory aspect of textile in the experience of reality, versus a sensory experience in digital space.
At the heart of the project is the question of whether the experience of tangible touch can be translated into a viewing experience on a digital screen, and if so, how? The question of the tangible representation versus the digital representation is crucial in an age of living in an intensively addictive environment in front of digital screens. This is a design research project that constitutes a platform for examining a tangible textile garment versus modes of representation in the digital screen domain.
