PERFECTIONISM

Combining ideas from Greek art's perfectionism and the Japanese aesthetic of Wabi-Sabi, Sarah Celebidachi’s exploration of digital printing led her to create new age processes using Jesmonite. Transforming this material into a functional textile for both fashion and interior design, Celebidachi used digitally printed puff coated sand paper and pleated plaster prints to achieve this concept. Resulting in imperfect, perfect prints, inspired by old traditions, made in sustainable ways.
